This refers to the chromium/nickel ratio in stainless steel. Items such as knives have a different ratio than forks because they serve a different purpose; knives need to be harder than forks as they have to cut.
For each item, we examined the ideal composition of the steel in accordance with its purpose. The spoons and forks have an 18/10 composition to ensure optimal rust resistance and long-lasting shine. The knives have blades with a 13/0 composition, making them very hard and sharp.
